Connie Jackson, Account Executive

   Born and raised in East Orange, NJ, Connie is passionate about making a difference in urban communities and helping to empower and educate our next generation of leaders. In addition to assisting the CEO with special public relations projects, Connie writes and submits grant applications on behalf of municipal clients to solicit alternative funding from local, county, state and federal government sources. Her work with the Garfield Childhood Obesity Intervention Taskforce garnered national and statewide attention for the City of Garfield, NJ, including its selection as one of six cities in the country to participate in a pilot program for Safe Routes to Schools. A former newspaper reporter with a creative eye for detail, Ms. Jackson also has worked in development communications and public relations in the non-profit sector. She holds a B.A. degree in mass communications from Xavier University of Louisiana.
